Perfectly positioned within walking distance to the extensive Rails-to-Trails nature trails, our cabin offers year-round adventure with opportunities for hiking, snowmobiling, mountain biking, and more.

A Northwoods Retreat Like No Other

Our Northwoods-style vacation rental boasts exquisite craftsmanship, featuring oak hardwood flooring, terra cotta tile, and custom-designed cabinetry. The cabin’s designer chef’s kitchen is equipped with high-end stainless steel appliances, making group dining a breeze. Comfortable and Spacious Sleeping Arrangements

Sidell’s Sturgeon River Log Cabin comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests across four private bedrooms and a loft. Three bedrooms, each on a different level, feature queen-sized beds. The fourth bedroom on the upper level is furnished with bunk beds—a twin-sized bed lofted over a full-sized bed. The loft also includes bunked beds with two twin-sized mattresses, and the living area offers additional sleeping space with a new log couch that folds out to a bed/futon.

Unique Outdoor Features

The cabin’s large yard slopes gently to the water’s edge, creating a perfect spot for relaxation and outdoor activities. The dining area opens up to an outdoor deck, while a custom-built paver patio and stone fire pit, complete with outdoor lounge seating, overlooks the river. Ample parking space is available in the driveway and vacant lot, accommodating vehicles, trailers (non-campers), and boats.

Endless Activities and Attractions

Located near some of northern Michigan’s best fishing, boating, golfing, skiing, and hiking, our cabin offers easy access to a variety of outdoor activities. Hit the slopes at Boyne Highlands, Boyne Mountain, or Nubs Nob in the winter, or soak up the sun at Devoe Beach on Burt Lake in the summer, just two miles away. …At the end of the day, return to your private vacation home on the shores of Lake of the Woods.

Plan ahead for a Hardwater Adventure at this Lake of the Woods Cabin. There are approximately 1,500 to 3,000 ice houses set up at any one time – but with a big lake like Lake of the Woods, there’s no overcrowding. Scenic drives are popular with our guests too: Rapid River Forest Road is one of the best back-roads to enjoy the fall colors.
The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen. Dinner table seats 6. Sleeping arrangement: 1 room has a Queen bed. Second upstairs loft room has 4 twins and a full size bed. An extra full size bed is available downstairs on request.

The nice thing we enjoy about vacation rentals is often there is an ability to wash your clothes and less packing when things are stocked such as linens and a stocked kitchen and this cabin does just that! It also has a charcoal grill, and a canoe to use! No need to bring beach chairs or towels, the cabin stocks them so you can have more room in the car for what you really need to bring….the kids and dog of course! Speaking of which, get the kids excited and a peaceful house to yourself-take them to the bunkhouse to sleep! It holds 4.

Events in Annandale are a great way to see what the community is all about. The all city garage sale is the first weekend in May and the Chili cook off is May 30.
