For a completely different pace, head toward Seney National Wildlife Refuge.

Loons, trumpeter swans, eagles, deer, and other wildlife can turn an ordinary drive into a much longer outing when everyone keeps asking to stop for another photo.
It’s also one of those Upper Peninsula places where doing less usually leads to seeing more.

Rib Mountain State Park has more than 13 miles of hiking trails. Trails cross the mountain and lead toward rock formations, wooded sections, overlooks, and some of the area’s best-known viewpoints.
