Spread across 0.67 acres with 540 feet of lakefront, it’s an ideal destination for your next vacation.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant wildlife surrounding our cabin. From songbirds and loons to eagles and red foxes, nature lovers will find endless delight in the array of creatures that call this place home. Whether you’re fishing, swimming, or simply relaxing by the shore, the natural beauty here is sure to enchant you.

Our cabin comfortably accommodates up to 9 guests with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main floor features two bedrooms and a bathroom, while the upstairs provides an additional bedroom and bathroom. We offer a range of beds, including a queen, twin-over-queen bunk, twin-over-twin bunk, and a full-over-twin trundle, ensuring everyone has a cozy place to sleep. For families with young children, we provide all linens, towels, and even a Pack-N-Play. The cabin includes window AC units in two bedrooms and a large AC unit in the living room for your comfort.

The spacious main floor boasts an open-plan kitchen, living room, and dining area under a vaulted pine ceiling. Our fully equipped kitchen has modern appliances and all the cooking utensils you need. Enjoy meals at the large pine table or kitchen island, and relax on the leather L-shaped couch in the living room, which features a 40″ LCD TV, cable, and Blu-ray player. High-speed Wi-Fi keeps you connected during your stay.

Outside, unwind on the wood deck with a picnic table, umbrella, and gas grill. Gather around the fire pit with ample seating, including chaise lounge chairs, Adirondack chairs, and wood benches. With two docks—one for swimming and one for fishing—you can fully enjoy the lake. The swimming dock offers easy access to shallow waters, while the fishing dock, situated at a drop-off, provides excellent fishing opportunities.

For those who enjoy a morning walk or jog, our property is 1.2 miles down a quiet backroad. Cyclists can explore the nearby Paul Bunyan State Trail, just 4.2 miles away. Boaters will appreciate the convenience of the nearby boat launch in Merrifield, only 1.3 miles away by water.

Around Merrifield, there’s plenty to explore. The Paul Bunyan State Trail is perfect for biking or hiking, stretching to both Brainerd and Nisswa. History buffs will enjoy the Crow Wing County Historical Society Museum in Brainerd, while families can have fun at the Nisswa Turtle Races during the summer. Dining options include The Boulders for great steaks, Sherwood Forest for a rustic dining experience, and Billy’s at Breezy Point for good food and entertainment. Shopping in Nisswa offers a charming experience with its boutique shops.

For those seeking more adventure, the Brainerd International Raceway hosts exciting motorsports events, and the Brainerd Zip Line Tour near Mount Ski Gull offers a thrilling way to see the area from above. Nestled on Burt Lake’s eastern shoreline, CedarStone offers a stunning view of Sturgeon Bay, facing southwest for breathtaking, picturesque sunsets. Enjoy these views from our 100-foot beach and dock, complete with a sun deck.

CedarStone’s beach features a smooth, round stone base with a gradual slope, free from muck, weeds, reeds, snakes, snapping turtles, or suckers. The crystal-clear water is so transparent that, on a calm day, you can drop a shiny quarter off the dock and see if it lands heads or tails!

Conveniently located just five minutes from I-75 at the 313-mile marker exit for M-27 to Topinabee and Cheboygan, CedarStone is about 3.5 hours from the intersection of I-96 and US-23.

Burt Lake is part of the Michigan Inter-Coastal Waterway. This route begins at Crooked Lake, flows through the Crooked River to Burt Lake, then continues via the Indian River under I-75 to Mullet Lake. From Mullet Lake, it travels through the Cheboygan River and finally connects to Lake Huron, just east of downtown Cheboygan.
