Old Century Farm House

This unique vacation property rests in the rural countryside, just minutes from Wisconsin Dells. There are three bedrooms ( two new queen beds , one double bed, one twin bed) and two bathrooms. The spacious Old Century Farm House includes twelve ft ceilings, two large porches, an equipped kitchen,  and more.  The vacation home is great for those seeking a quiet retreat in the country and those looking for an adventure. Within a 30 minute radius, there are a variety of Wisconsin attractions to appeal to all ages.

WI Dells – 15 minutes – Duck/boat tours, golfing, theaters, shopping, hiking, water-parks, amusement parks, Lake Delton, horseback riding, zip line tours, and more
Baraboo – 30 minutes – Devil’s Lake, International Crane Foundation, antique shops, Circus World Museum, art
Reedsburg – 20 minutes – State bike trail, antique shops, quilting shops, coffee shops, golfing
Elroy – 20 minutes – State bike trails, hiking, canoeing, coffee shops

The vacation home was built in 1863 and is in the National Register of Historic Places . Henry Dawes, who built the the Old Century Farm House, was father of Rufus Dawes. Rufus Dawes was involved in the Civil war in Mauston and then commanded Company K of the 6th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry of the Iron Brigade at Gettysburg.
