Marie and Gary agree that summer is nice here. Enjoy the many resort activities (you will hardly have to leave this resort). There are many things to do such as volleyball, basketball, badminton, shuffleboard, ladder ball, ping pong, pedal boats, and kayaks. Enjoy activities such as arrow painting, scavenger hunts, movie and popcorn nights.

The real time that this area shines is winter, you can see why! Dogsledding in Ely, Minnesota is definitely something you can’t miss. The ice fishing around here is spectacular with numerous fishing tournaments in the winter. Snowshoeing in the wilderness will allow you to observe some shy wildlife and fantastic scenery. Snowmobiling and winter festivals are also a huge reason why people love Ely in the winter. After a day being active in the colder temperatures, relax in the heated sauna on site.
