Fall Fairs and Festivals – Ending October the Fun Way

For the past month, trees in Wisconsin have been golden and red. People have been enjoying the great colors through hiking, biking, and the occasional bonfire. Here’s the best news – fall is not over. The end of October is full of events all through Wisconsin. Enjoy Halloween family fairs, art shows, and more!

  • From the Land – Folk Art Show | October 27-28, 2012
    Enjoy this art show in Green Lake, WI. There will be informative speakers from 11am-1pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Also enjoy an antique tractor show. Admission is free.

  • Jack O’Lantern Days | October 26-28, 2012
    Head over to Fish Creek, WI for this Halloween inspired weekend festival. On Friday and Saturday there is the Jack O’ Lantern Blaze event sponsored by the Hands on Art Studio. On Saturday at 5:30 pm there will be a lighting ceremony of all of the carved pumpkins. Another activates include the Door County Trolley Ghost Tours, a Halloween parade, and a Dog Pal Costume Party. Travel to Fish Creek and enjoy decorations throughout the town and coupons for many area stores.

  • Oktobearfest | October 27, 2012
    This event in St. Germain, WI has a different spin on Oktoberfest. Enjoy German theme food and beverages, polka music, pumpkin painting, and hay rides. This event benefits the Vilas County Historical Museum.
