The Bald Eagle Cabin is on Big Stone Lake which is part of a 28 lake chain. This is the largest freshwater chain in the world. The vacation cabin in Eagle River WI has great fishing for musky, walleye, bass, and much more. There is a dock area for 1 boat and a sandy swimming area. The cabin accommodates up to seven people and has three bedrooms. Noteworthy events and festivals that will create long-lasting memories –

  • A true Wisconsin event with culinary offerings in the Eagle River area. Head to Eagle River for the Festival of Flavors August 25th & 26th. Wisconsin wineries and cheese produces showcase their products at this world-class event.
  • Cranberry Festival is held October 6th-7th, 2012. This fall event includes arts and crafts, cranberry foods, and entertainment.
  • Each winter in Eagle River, local volunteers and firefighters create an elaborate ice palace using 12 inch think pieces of ice.  Usually the palace stands from New Years to late February. Take a winter trip to the Eagle River area and experience this unique WI attraction. The Chamber of Commerce Executive director, Conrad Heeg says,

“We want folks to visit our wonderful community, but it is a lot more than that: How can you measure the joy of wide-eyed kids and adults watching the ice being cut and hauled using the old equipment, and volunteers building this ice castle, by hand and then stepping back to see this huge, utterly beautiful, and artistic ice structure?”
